Experience the revolutionary "Memory Foam" effect in 3D printing with QTS Flexible 52D. This professional-grade 405nm UV resin combines the rigidity of Shore 52D engineering plastic with an incredible 100% elongation and high impact strength. Its unique slow-rebound characteristic allows it to absorb impact energy and slowly return to its original shape, making it the ultimate choice for vibration dampeners, energy-absorbing pads, and high-toughness functional snap-fits.

QTS FLEXIBLE 52D — THE REVOLUTIONARY MEMORY RESIN FOR ENERGY ABSORPTION
QTS Flexible 52D is a game-changing engineering material that defies traditional resin categories. It offers the structural rigidity of a Shore 52D plastic while maintaining the resilience of a high-performance elastomer. The soul of this resin lies in its "Slow Rebound" property—much like memory foam, it absorbs impact energy and slowly recovers its form. This makes it an unparalleled solution for high-end dampening, shock absorption, and functional parts that require a balance of strength and flexibility.

WHY CHOOSE QTS?
  • TAIWANESE ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE: Developed and manufactured in Taiwan, QTS Flexible 52D is the result of advanced material science, providing a unique viscoelastic solution for professional industries worldwide.
  • UNIQUE SLOW-REBOUND (MEMORY) EFFECT: Unlike standard elastomers that snap back instantly, Flex 52D converts impact energy into heat and releases it slowly, providing superior energy dampening.
  • 15+ YEARS OF INDUSTRY TRUST: Trusted by engineers and researchers for its consistent quality and innovative properties, QTS is a leader in specialized photopolymer development.

KEY ADVANTAGES
  • ENERGY ABSORPTION & DAMPENING: Specifically formulated to dissipate energy, making it perfect for high-end vibration isolators and shock-absorbing components.
  • RIGIDITY MEETS TOUGHNESS: The Shore 52D hardness provides solid structural support, while the >100% elongation ensures parts deform under stress rather than snapping.
  • OPTICAL CLARITY: The crystal-clear finish allows for the visual inspection of internal stress distribution and deformation patterns during testing.
  • ULTRA-LOW VISCOSITY (140-180 cps): Features excellent flowability, ensuring high-resolution details, easy cleaning, and a high print success rate.
  • NON-BRITTLE SNAP-FITS: Ideal for creating functional clips, hinges, and snap-fit joints that need to be opened and closed repeatedly without breaking.
  • UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Fully tested and verified for Anycubic, Elegoo, Phrozen, Creality, and other professional 405nm 3D printers.

APPLICATIONS & USE CASES
  • ENERGY ABSORPTION & DAMPENING: Custom vibration-dampening feet for precision instruments, high-end audio equipment, and industrial machinery.
  • HIGH-TOUGHNESS FUNCTIONAL PARTS: Snap-fits, hinges, and clips that require high structural integrity and resistance to brittle failure.
  • PROTECTIVE GEAR PROTOTYPES: Advanced cushioning layers for sports equipment, protective enclosures, and impact-resistant housings.
  • SPECIALTY PROTOTYPING: Any product prototype that needs to simulate "memory" or "viscoelastic" characteristics.
  • SEALS & GASKETS: Custom gaskets that require a certain level of structural rigidity combined with excellent sealing properties.

HOW TO USE - BEST PRACTICES
  1. PREPARATION: Shake the resin gently for 1-2 minutes before use. Store in a cool, dark place (15-35°C).
  2. PRINTING: Due to its low viscosity, it prints very similarly to standard resins. Use a calibration test to find the optimal exposure for your specific hardware.
  3. CLEANING: Clean parts immediately with 95% isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
  4. UV POST-CURING: MANDATORY. To achieve the best mechanical properties and activate the slow-rebound characteristics, UV cure in a 365-405nm box for 10-60 minutes.

PRINTER COMPATIBILITY
Tested and verified with:
  • Anycubic Photon Series
  • Elegoo Mars & Saturn Series
  • Phrozen Sonic Series
  • Miicraft DLP Printers
  • And most professional 405nm LCD/DLP/SLA printers.

WHY QTS FLEXIBLE 52D OUTPERFORMS COMPETITORS
  • VS. STANDARD TOUGH RESINS: Most tough resins are just "hard to break." Flex 52D adds a functional energy-absorption dimension that standard materials lack.
  • VS. TRADITIONAL ELASTOMERS: Flex 52D provides much better structural support (52D) while maintaining high elongation, bridging the gap between plastic and rubber.
  • OPTICAL STABILITY: Engineered to maintain its clarity and unique mechanical properties over time, even after repeated use.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Q: How "slow" is the rebound?
A: The rebound speed depends on the thickness of the part and the ambient temperature. It is noticeably slower than standard rubber, providing a distinct "memory" feel.
Q: Is it as clear as the Flex 46A?
A: Yes, it is highly transparent. It is excellent for observing how internal structures react to impact and compression.
Q: Can I use this for functional snap-fits?
A: Absolutely. Its high elongation and impact strength make it one of the best materials for non-brittle, functional mechanical parts.

CUSTOMER SUCCESS STORIES
  • INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER: "We used Flex 52D for a custom dampening system in a handheld medical device. The energy absorption is exactly what we needed to protect the internal sensors."
  • MECHANICAL ENGINEER: "The snap-fits printed with 52D are incredible. They have the rigidity of plastic but the toughness of an elastomer. No more broken clips during assembly!"
  • RESEARCHER: "Being able to see the internal deformation in a clear, slow-rebound material has been a game-changer for our impact-dynamics study."
