QTS FLEXIBLE 57A — THE TOUGH, TPU-LIKE ELASTOMER FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE PROTOTYPING
QTS Flexible 57A is designed for creators who push the limits of flexible 3D printing. It bridges the gap between soft-touch materials and rigid engineering plastics, offering a Shore 57A hardness that provides the perfect balance of flexibility and structural support. With its superior impact toughness and rapid rebound, Flex 57A is the ultimate tool for simulating the performance of high-end TPU products before moving to mass production.

WHY CHOOSE QTS?
  • TAIWANESE ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE: Developed and manufactured in Taiwan, QTS Flexible 57A leverages advanced material science to deliver consistent, professional-grade performance for industrial and creative applications.
  • SUPERIOR IMPACT TOUGHNESS: With a notched Izod impact strength of 56 J/m, this resin is engineered to absorb energy and resist failure under stress, outperforming standard flexible materials.
  • 15+ YEARS OF INDUSTRY TRUST: Trusted by professional designers and engineers worldwide, QTS provides the specialized materials needed for high-fidelity functional prototyping.

KEY ADVANTAGES
  • TPU-LIKE PERFORMANCE: Perfectly replicates the feel, durability, and rebound of high-performance TPU, making it ideal for verifying product designs.
  • HIGH RESILIENCE & REBOUND: Capable of withstanding repeated compression and impact while quickly returning to its original shape.
  • OPTICAL CLARITY: The crystal-clear finish allows for the inspection of internal structures and provides a premium aesthetic for transparent functional parts.
  • LOW ODOR & IMPROVED EXPERIENCE: Formulated to minimize odor and irritation, ensuring a more comfortable working environment for professional users.
  • EXCELLENT TEAR RESISTANCE: Engineered with high-quality polymers to ensure that parts remain durable and do not easily tear during dynamic use.
  • UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Fully tested and verified for Anycubic, Elegoo, Phrozen, Creality, and other professional 405nm 3D printers.

APPLICATIONS & USE CASES
  • FOOTWEAR DEVELOPMENT: Functional prototyping and testing for midsoles, outsoles, and insoles of athletic shoes.
  • IMPACT-RESISTANT PARTS: Protective enclosures for robotics, drones, or sports equipment that require energy absorption.
  • FUNCTIONAL WEARABLE DEVICES: Watch straps, protective gear inserts, and ergonomic pads that require a balance of support and flexibility.
  • INDUSTRIAL SEALS & GASKETS: Custom-shaped gaskets and seals that need to withstand mechanical pressure and maintain their integrity.
  • OPTICAL FUNCTIONAL PARTS: Transparent impact-resistant housings or light-diffusing components with cushioning properties.

HOW TO USE - BEST PRACTICES
  1. PREPARATION: Shake the resin thoroughly for 1-2 minutes before use. Store in a cool, dark place (15-35°C).
  2. PRINTING: For best results, use adequate support density and slower lift speeds to account for the material's elasticity during the peeling process.
  3. CLEANING: Clean parts immediately with 95% isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
  4. UV POST-CURING: MANDATORY. To achieve the best mechanical properties and a dry, non-tacky surface, UV cure in a 365-405nm box for 10-60 minutes.

PRINTER COMPATIBILITY
Tested and verified with:
  • Anycubic Photon Series
  • Elegoo Mars & Saturn Series
  • Phrozen Sonic Series
  • Miicraft DLP Printers
  • And most professional 405nm LCD/DLP/SLA printers.

WHY QTS FLEXIBLE 57A OUTPERFORMS COMPETITORS
  • VS. STANDARD FLEXIBLE RESINS: Most flexible resins lack the impact strength needed for functional testing. Flex 57A's 56 J/m impact strength sets it apart as a true engineering material.
  • VS. TPU FILAMENTS: 3D printed resin parts offer much higher detail and better isotropic properties compared to FDM-printed TPU, making them superior for complex footwear and wearable designs.
  • OPTICAL STABILITY: Engineered to maintain its transparency and resist yellowing better than budget clear flexible materials.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Q: Is this resin as soft as the Flex 8A?
A: No, Flex 57A is firmer (Shore 57A), similar to a high-performance TPU or a shoe sole. Flex 8A is ultra-soft like silicone.
Q: Can I use this for functional shoe soles?
A: Yes! Its high impact resistance and rebound make it excellent for prototyping and testing the performance of athletic shoe designs.
Q: How clear is the final print?
A: It is highly transparent. For a glass-like finish, we recommend applying a clear UV-resistant spray or polishing the surface after post-curing.
