QTS RIGID HT120 — THE ULTIMATE INDUSTRIAL SOLUTION FOR HEAT AND PRESSURE
When your design demands a material that can withstand both high temperatures and mechanical stress, QTS Rigid HT120 is the answer. Developed in Taiwan as a professional-grade engineering resin, it is designed to replace traditional engineering plastics in functional testing and low-volume production. With its unique combination of thermal stability and extreme rigidity, you no longer have to compromise on strength to achieve heat resistance.

WHY CHOOSE QTS?
  • TAIWANESE ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE: Developed and manufactured in Taiwan, QTS Rigid HT120 leverages world-class R&D in photopolymer chemistry to ensure superior quality, consistency, and industrial-grade performance.
  • STRENGTH BEYOND ABS: With a tensile strength of 80-85 MPa, HT120 outperforms many traditional FDM engineering plastics, allowing for thinner, lighter designs with higher structural integrity.
  • 15+ YEARS OF INDUSTRY TRUST: Trusted by over 8,000 customers worldwide, QTS provides the reliability and technical expertise needed for complex industrial and engineering projects.

KEY ADVANTAGES
  • 120°C (248°F) HEAT RESISTANCE: Maintains its shape and strength under high thermal loads, making it ideal for molds and engine-room fixtures.
  • ULTRA-HIGH RIGIDITY: A tensile modulus of >3 GPa ensures minimal deformation under load, providing the stiffness required for precision engineering parts.
  • EXCEPTIONAL DIMENSIONAL STABILITY: Features ultra-low shrinkage (<0.5%) and low water absorption (<0.5%), ensuring micron-level accuracy from print to long-term use.
  • CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: Resistant to common industrial solvents like IPA, ensuring reliability in complex working environments.
  • PURE WHITE FINISH: Provides a clean, professional appearance that is easy to inspect and post-process.
  • UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Fully tested and verified for Anycubic, Elegoo, Phrozen, Creality, and other professional 405nm 3D printers.

APPLICATIONS & USE CASES
  • RAPID TOOLING: Creating short-run injection molds for low-volume production and vacuum forming molds.
  • HIGH-LOAD JIGS & FIXTURES: High-strength positioning jigs and test fixtures for production lines that require thermal stability.
  • AUTOMOTIVE & AEROSPACE: Heat-resistant components near engine compartments, aerodynamic test parts, and structural drone components.
  • FLUID ENGINEERING: Manifolds, valve blocks, and pump housings that must withstand high-temperature fluids or gases.
  • FUNCTIONAL PROTOTYPING: Replacing ABS or Nylon parts in functional testing where thermal and mechanical loads are present.

HOW TO USE - BEST PRACTICES
  1. PREPARATION: Shake the resin gently before use. Store in a cool, dark place (15-35°C).
  2. CLEANING: Clean parts with 95% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or specialized cleaner for a maximum of 2 minutes (ultrasonic cleaning recommended).
  3. UV POST-CURING: Cure in a UV box for 10-60 minutes (depending on model thickness) to reach optimal mechanical properties.
  4. THERMAL TREATMENT (CRITICAL STEP): To fully activate its high-temperature resistance, the model MUST be baked in an oven at 100°C for 10 minutes after UV curing.
  5. SUPPORT REMOVAL: For best results, remove supports after the UV curing phase but before the final thermal treatment if the geometry allows.

PRINTER COMPATIBILITY
Tested and verified with:
  • Anycubic Photon Series
  • Elegoo Mars & Saturn Series
  • Phrozen Sonic Series
  • Creality & Other 405nm LCD/DLP Printers.

WHY QTS RIGID HT120 OUTPERFORMS COMPETITORS
  • VS. STANDARD TOUGH RESINS: Standard tough resins often soften at temperatures above 50°C. HT120 remains rigid up to 120°C.
  • VS. FDM ABS/NYLON: HT120 provides isotropic strength and much higher detail resolution than FDM-printed engineering plastics.
  • DIMENSIONAL ACCURACY: The low-shrinkage formula ensures that complex assemblies fit perfectly every time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Q: Is the 100°C thermal treatment mandatory?
A: Yes, it is essential to fully cross-link the polymer and achieve the rated 120°C heat resistance.
Q: Can I use this for injection molding?
A: Yes, it is excellent for short-run injection mold inserts for low-temperature plastics like PP, PE, or TPE.
Q: How does it compare to QTS ENGR High Temp (270°C)?
A: ENGR High Temp offers higher thermal resistance (270°C) but HT120 provides superior rigidity and a pure white finish, making it better for structural parts that don't reach extreme temperatures.

CUSTOMER SUCCESS STORIES
  • MANUFACTURING ENGINEER: "We replaced our aluminum test fixtures with HT120. They handle the heat of our testing cycle perfectly and were 90% cheaper to produce."
  • PRODUCT DEVELOPER: "The rigidity is amazing. We used it for a high-pressure manifold prototype, and it showed zero deformation during the pressure test."
  • AUTOMOTIVE HOBBYIST: "I printed custom sensor mounts for my engine bay. They've been in use for months without any signs of softening or warping."

SAFETY & STORAGE
  • Always wear nitrile gloves and safety goggles.
  • Use in a well-ventilated area.
  • Store in a cool, dark place (15-35°C).
  • Keep away from children and do not ingest.
