QTS EZ Nylon (Easy Nylon) 3D Printing Filament
Experience the superior performance of QTS Nylon PA6! Engineered for industrial applications with unparalleled toughness and wear resistance. The most reliable choice for prototypes and end-use parts.
Product Introduction
QTS EZ Nylon is an innovative filament developed based on high-performance PA 6/66 Copolyamide, deeply optimized for consumer and professional FDM 3D printers. Through unique Nucleating Technology, we have significantly reduced the crystallization shrinkage rate of nylon material, achieving excellent performance for printing industrial-grade parts without the need for an enclosure. Say goodbye to the headache of warping and layer separation when printing traditional nylon.
Key Advantages
Ultra-Low Warping
Thanks to the special Nucleating Technology, the shrinkage rate is only 0.6~0.8%, greatly reducing thermal stress during printing. Even large flat parts can fit tightly to the heat bed without warping edges.
No Enclosure Required
Breaking the limitation that nylon must be printed in a constant temperature enclosed chamber, EZ Nylon can be successfully printed even on open machines (like Bambu Lab A1), significantly lowering the equipment threshold.
Strong Layer Adhesion
Excellent interlayer fusion characteristics ensure that printed parts also have extremely high strength in the Z-axis direction, making them less prone to layer separation and perfectly competent for functional structural parts.
Excellent Chemical Resistance
Inheriting the excellent properties of PA 6/66, it has good resistance to various solvents, oils, and chemicals, suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
Applications & Use Cases
Combining the toughness and printability of nylon, EZ Nylon is an ideal alternative to traditional ABS or PETG for creating high-strength parts:
Drone Frames
Requires high toughness and impact resistance to withstand vibration and accidental drops during flight.
Industrial Gears
Utilizes the natural wear resistance and self-lubricating properties of nylon to make long-life transmission parts.
Living Hinges
With an elongation at break of up to 100%-120%, it can make snaps or hinge structures that need to be bent repeatedly.
Functional Prototypes
Rapidly verify product designs with physical properties close to final injection molded products. Ideal for structural connectors.

Important: Bambu Lab AMS Not Recommended
Due to the smooth surface of nylon filament, the Bambu Lab AMS automatic filament feeder is not recommended. Use an external filament feeder instead to ensure stable feeding and printing success.
1. Moisture Management
Nylon material is highly hygroscopic. For optimal surface quality and layer strength, strongly recommend "print while drying" (using a filament dryer). If the filament contains moisture, "stringing", surface bubbles, or popping sounds will occur during printing, significantly reducing part strength.
2. Support Settings
For complex structures, it is recommended to increase the Z-axis distance of supports to 0.25mm and maintain a slight fan speed (about 15%) to balance the surface precision of the support contact area and the difficulty of removal.
3. Enclosure Recommendations
Although this product can be successfully printed on open machines (like Bambu Lab A1), the thermal insulation effect is better when printing large-sized parts in enclosed machines (like X1C). In this case, the fan speed can be appropriately increased to optimize overhang and bridging performance.
4. Safety & Storage
- Moisture-Proof Storage: When storing, please be sure to use an aluminum foil vacuum bag, put in sufficient desiccant, and avoid direct sunlight.
- Ventilated Environment: Nylon may release slight odors when melted. Please maintain good ventilation in the printing area.
- Temperature Control: Recommended storage temperature is 15°C - 25°C with relative humidity below 50%.
